Emeline (Emmy) Berlind is vice president of content strategy at Sephora. In her role, Ms. Berlind oversees the strategy and execution of content that is focused on audience engagement across Sephora’s social channels to ensure that clients are always immersed in the latest and greatest in beauty content. Most recently, Emmy was responsible for launching the inaugural #SephoraSquad, a group of 28 diverse influencers representative of Sephora’s own clientele, spanning a wide range of ethnicities, nationalities, genders and sexual orientations, who create content for Sephora and help to serve as a resource as clients’ needs change and grow. Since joining in 2015, Ms. Berlind has also played a vital role in driving the Play! by Sephora subscription service and the innovation of sample marketing programming. Prior to joining Sephora, she worked across a variety of lifestyle brands including Yes to, Inc., The Clorox Company and more. She received her Master of Business Administration at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and attended Harvard University for her undergraduate studies, where she majored in social studies. Emmy currently lives in San Francisco with her husband, two children and a devious yet loveable dog.
