Andrew Bimson is the Global Head of Marketing Operations at Bloomberg LP. With over $9B in revenue, Bloomberg quickly and accurately delivers business and financial information, news and insight around the world. Andrew is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction and executional support to the Marketing Account Management and Functional departments. He oversees a team that delivers business planning, performance reporting, resource deployment and financial control.
With over 15 years of broad based Marketing experience in business development, client service and operational roles, Andrew has worked for both small and large scale marketing and communication agencies. He has a penchant for developing growth strategies and bottom line results via innovative marketing programs and solutions for both B2B and B2C organizations. He has owned his own agency, and worked within management teams on business controls and M&A opportunities. He has partnered with global brands including NBC, General Electric, The Coca-Cola Company, BP, Samsung and Adidas.
Andrew has resided in Sydney, London, NYC and Singapore and is a champion for a diverse and inclusive communities. He earned his MBA from Washington University and has sat on a number of executive management boards and now serves on the North America Advisory Board for the CMO Council.
He resides in New Jersey with his wife and two daughters.
