Mike Boyd has over 30 years of brand, advertising and sponsorship experience, as well as extensive knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry. He currently serves as the head of Nationwide’s in-house agency team responsible for creating, managing and executing marketing campaigns, programs and product collateral. Most recently, Mr. Boyd led enterprise branding efforts for Nationwide. Previously, he served as head of brand and sponsorship at Farmers Insurance; vice president, brand and creative development at 21st Century (formerly AIG, subsequently acquired by Farmers); and vice president at The Martin Agency (IPG), where he led advertising and strategic branding for Geico and Ping Golf. Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in advertising from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Mike and his wife, Shannon, have two children: Natalie, who is attending graduate school at the University of Alabama, and Tyler, an incoming freshman at the University of Delaware.
