Shawn Brain

Shawn Brain joined Marriott International’s Creative + Content Marketing group in February 2015 as Director, Strategy and Account Management where she works with internal account teams and brand partners to create best-in-class, engaging content for Marriott brands. Prior to that, she worked at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company as Senior Manager, Global Brand Marketing overseeing global media strategy development and execution for the brand.

Shawn also previously worked at Nestle Purina PetCare Company, where she served as communications brand manager for the Friskies brand. Under Shawn’s leadership, Friskies identified new content and media distribution opportunities through celebrity cat partnerships and a first-of-its-kind contest, “The Friskies,” honoring the best new internet cat videos of the year. Results from the contest were the strongest Friskies ever achieved in a PR/digital program. Shawn graduated with an M.B.A. from The GW School of Business with a concentration in marketing.
