Christine is an anomaly in the advertising agency business, having been at The Martin Agency for 27 years. When asked why so many years at Martin, she promptly answers, “When one is constantly being given the opportunity to learn new things while working at the best place in America, why would you leave?”
She brings a unique perspective to any challenge, having worked in the disciplines of strategic development, brand and retail advertising, brand fulfillment, account service, digital, direct response marketing, event marketing and most recently talent and traffic. As director of talent and traffic, she currently oversees talent contracting and negotiations, interaction with talent unions, securing intellectual property rights and permissions as well as asset delivery. At the request of Martin’s COO, she has recently added “all things legal” to her list of duties.
Using her multidisciplinary experience, Christine has worked on a variety of accounts, including Walmart, Bank One, Vanity Fair, UPS, Trigon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Signet Bank, Quiznos Subs, Men’s Health magazine, No Nonsense pantyhose, Kohler, Amgen, AXA, Dasani, Sprint, TV Land/Nick@Nite, CoStar, CARFAX, and the Newspaper Association of America. She has been involved with Effie, Addy, ECHO and One Show award-winning campaigns for several of these clients.
Christine is a graduate of the University of Richmond and the AAAA Institute for Advanced Advertising Studies. She is a member of the JPC Committee and served on the Board of the Greater Richmond Aquatics Partnership, the Poseidon Swimming Foundation and the Executive Committee of the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” campaign. Christine and her husband Sean literally share the same hobbies – Ryan, Andy and Casey – their three very busy sons.
