Mary Ann Brennan is a global supply chain, marketing and sales leader with over 27 years’ experience within the retail, telecommunications, nonprofit, entertainment, financial services and CPG industries. At Mattel, the world’s largest toy company, Ms. Brennan is based out of the headquarters in El Segundo, California and serves as the senior director of global indirect procurement, where she manages a global team along with nearly $1 billion in spend. During her tenure, she has partnered with executives of leading Fortune 500 companies to develop successful and sustainable relationships. As a marketer, Mary Ann worked on brands such as Time Warner/Six Flags, Countrywide/Bank of America, Express, The Limited and Wells Fargo. As a procurement professional, she works on Barbie, Hot Wheels, American Girl, Fisher Price, Uno and more. Ms. Brennan earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California (USC) Marshall School of Business with a dual emphasis in marketing and finance. She is an author, active member and speaker of several trade, education and nonprofit organizations, including the ANA and CMO Collective. Mary Ann is currently designing an online certification course based on “Has Indirect Procurement Earned a Seat at the Curriculum Table?”, which she recently authored and published.
