Dr. Lisa Cameron is a Principal and Practice Leader of the Consumer Protection & Product Liability Practice at The Brattle Group. She is an economist with 25 years of experience consulting to attorneys involved in commercial litigation and other complex matters.

In her work on false advertising matters, Dr. Cameron has provided economic analyses in a number of high-profile consumer class actions. Her work in these cases includes performing economic evaluations of conjoint surveys used to estimate but-for world demand and survey-based market simulation models used to determine market price premium damages. She has also been involved in a number of Lanham Act matters in which she has addressed liability issues with likelihood-of-confusion experiments and has analyzed actual-world data and/or reviewed survey-based market simulations used to estimate damages.

Dr. Cameron has published several papers on the appropriate use of survey-based market simulations in both product misrepresentation and intellectual property cases and regularly presents on these topics at professional conferences.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Dr. Cameron was a professor of economics at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business. She received her PhD in Economics from Stanford University and her BSc in Applied Economics from Cornell University.
