David E.J. Cardona is director, shopper marketing, category advisory and multicultural capabilities for The Clorox Company. Mr. Cardona is responsible for strengthening Clorox’s shopper marketing and category advisory services capabilities with a primary focus on driving sustainable growth across strategic accounts. He continues to influence key aspects of the business planning process. Prior to Clorox, David worked for Colgate-Palmolive as marketing director. Mr. Cardona has broad experience in international and domestic markets and is a subject-matter expert in building multicultural capabilities, innovation and marketing communications. He initiated his career in the advertising industry working for J. Walter Thompson and Leo Burnett. Cardona has a bachelor’s degree in advertising and a Master of Business Administration degree in marketing from the Inter American University in Puerto Rico. David is actively engaged with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Alameda County Food Bank and Chabot Space Center. He has been featured in Advertising Age, Hispanic CMO and P2PI’s Shopper Marketing magazine.
