Fabian Castro works closely with media, creative, publicity, digital, partnerships, and field marketing teams to develop innovative, nuanced campaigns that reach today’s multicultural audiences. Since joining Universal in 2010, Mr. Castro has continued to build upon the studio’s longstanding commitment to diversity with innovative strategies and culturally relevant tactics that have boosted numerous Universal films to box-office success among multicultural audiences. Previously, he served as director of brand development for Food Network Magazine. He spent eight years working for various Time Warner publications, including PEOPLE en Español and Entertainment Weekly, where he served as director of strategic marketing and promotions and director of entertainment partnerships, respectively. Mr. Castro received his B.S. in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
