Eric Chan is currently the senior vice president, finance and strategy for the global brands organization at Mattel. In this role, Mr. Chan leads the finance and strategy groups responsible for supporting the brand marketing, product development and design, consumer research and insights, and digital and content functions within the company. Overall, this function oversees $6 billion of revenues from iconic brands such as Barbie, Fisher-Price, Hot Wheels, Uno, Thomas and Friends, and Monster High. Prior to Mattel, Mr. Chan worked at companies such as Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette; Bain & Company; Combio; Niku Corporation; and most recently at Cisco Systems, where he held a number of executive operational and financial positions. Mr. Chan has an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and received his M.B.A from Harvard Business School.
