Kim Chelpaty is a seasoned marketing professional, relationship manager and project leader. Prior to the American Cancer Society (ACS), Ms. Chelpaty worked in the business sector for 15 years in the retail and banking industries, where she led direct-to-consumer marketing programs. While she was employed at Citibank, she partnered with various nonprofits to build third-party marketing programs. It was then that Kim decided to make a life and career change by joining the ACS in 2002. Ms. Chelpaty has had diverse roles at ACS, including regional customer engagement, corporate alliances, operational excellence and process improvement; however, seven of her 13 years have been in direct marketing. She has staff oversight and management of the ACS nationwide direct mail program, including strategic planning, budget forecasting, contracting, program development and analysis. A 30-year survivor of Hodgkin’s disease, and recipient of ACS services, Kim is extremely passionate about her role in the fight against cancer.
