Joan Chow joined ConAgra Foods as executive vice president and chief marketing officer in 2007. In this role, she is responsible for leading ConAgra Foods’ global marketing team, including integrated marketing planning, digital/interactive marketing, advertising, social media, consumer insights, and multicultural marketing.
One of Brandweek’s 2009 Marketers of the Year, Joan takes an in-depth focus on insights-driven marketing for ConAgra Foods’ brands across the portfolio. Joan strives to build integrated 360-degree marketing programs, including compelling advertising creative, effective media plans, sustainable customer/shopper linkage, and a strong return on marketing objectives.
Joan’s marketing organization and the ConAgra Foods Foundation partnered on – Child Hunger Ends Here - focused on ending child hunger in America. Joan and her team also launched www.ReadySetEat.com, which offers quick, easy recipes and highlights the ingredients that are on sale locally.
Prior to joining ConAgra Foods, Joan was SVP and CMO of Sears, Roebuck & Co., where she led all aspects of the company's retail marketing efforts.
Joan serves as a member on the Board of Directors of Feeding America, Association of National Advertisers (ANA), and The Manitowoc Company, Inc., and has previously served on the Board of RC2 Corporation.
