Iveliz R. Crespo (They/Them) is Reed Smith's Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisor, aiding Reed Smith’s efforts to promote and achieve diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal community.

Iveliz joined Reed Smith after serving as the City of Philadelphia Law Department’s first-ever director of professional development for diversity and inclusion, where they had the unique opportunity to both develop and implement large-scale diversity programming. They have held adjunct roles at both Villanova Law and Temple Law focusing their curriculum on social justice and diversity and inclusion topics. They have also developed and facilitated trainings for clients, government officials, judges, local-area nonprofits and law firms on trauma-informed legal services, LGBTQ and racial competency, implicit bias, and best practices.

Prior to entering the Diversity and Inclusion field, Iveliz worked as a civil litigator in various non-profits representing some of the most marginalized communities. They have advocated on behalf of migrant farmworkers and LGBT clients, representing them in civil rights, human trafficking, and employment law matters.
