Jerry Daykin is the head of global media for Beam Suntory, a world leader in premium spirits, where he is responsible for standing up the company’s first global media team to activate insights-driven media to reach consumers at the right spaces and places, more personally and more directly. Fueled by a passion for addressing diversity and inclusion, consciousness, and quality within media, Jerry is advancing Beam Suntory’s global digital media transformation through a media playbook that equates the company with a premium house of brands and leverages its ability to create a socially conscious and deeply human experience for consumers. Jerry has helped some of the largest brands in the world drive global marketing and digital transformations through media strategy, most recently at GSK and prior to that at Diageo. A strong believer in the impact that media and marketing can have on society, Jerry co-chairs the World Federation of Advertisers’ Diversity Task Force where he is helping to steer the industry’s efforts to improve diversity and inclusion and mitigate bias across the creative process. He is also the author of the book, “Inclusive Marketing: Why Representation Matters to Your Customers and Your Brand,” published in October 2022.
