Sean Dowd has 31 years of strategic sourcing and supply chain experience at Intel. He is currently responsible for Intel’s marketing agency management strategic sourcing. Mr. Dowd’s career in driving innovative supply chain strategies includes founding the marketing procurement function within Intel in the early ’90s and building and leading organizations within Intel’s technology and manufacturing organization, including assembly direct materials, assembly technology development, capital equipment development, and Intel’s supply network/logistics group. He has extensive experience in Asia, Europe, and Latin America, including an assignment in San Jose, Costa Rica where he led Intel’s Latin America manufacturing materials organization. Mr. Dowd is an active member of the ANA and serves as a mentor in the ANA mentoring program. He holds degrees from the Rochester Institute of Technology, State University of New York College of Technology at Alfred, and the University of Phoenix.
