Kathryn L. Farrara is the associate general counsel for Unilever, North America, where she leads the legal marketing, data, and digital practice group. Her team covers a broad scope of activities from early stages of product innovation to crisis management and everything in between, including day-to-day counseling on claim substantiation, regulatory compliance, contracts, intellectual property, data privacy, and security.

Previously, Ms. Farrara served as an adjunct professor for New York Law School, where she taught an introductory course on advertising and media law. She was also a senior attorney for the National Advertising Division (NAD) of the BBB National Partners Program.
