Knatokie M. Ford, Ph.D. is an executive advisor for the ANA’s SeeHer, where she helps produce positive change by co-leading efforts to build tools that mitigate gender bias in media and highlight best practices. She is also the founder and CEO of Fly Sci Enterprise, an education and media consulting organization focused on leveraging the power of storytelling to promote social change.
Previously, Dr. Ford served as a senior policy advisor in President Obama’s White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. She has also served on the Barbie Global Advisory Council, YouTube Kids Global Advisory Committee, and the Toy Association’s STEM/STEAM Strategic Leadership Committee.
Dr. Ford received her Ph.D. in experimental pathology from Harvard University and her B.S./M.S. in chemistry/biological chemistry from Clark Atlanta University.
