As president of national advertising sales and marketing for Scripps Networks Interactive, Steve Gigliotti is responsible for managing ad sales and developing new advertising-related revenue streams in conjunction with emerging media for the company’s portfolio of lifestyle networks – HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel and Great American Country (GAC) – and their websites, as well as their research departments. Under Steve’s leadership, Scripps’ ad sales and marketing teams have continually ranked at the top of the industry’s Beta Research Ad Executive Study for overall service, multi-platform ad opportunities and upfront presentations. Scripps is one of the few media groups that has consistently generated double-digit growth in ad revenues.
Prior to joining Scripps, Gigliotti was vice president and general manager of ABC affiliate WMAR-TV in Baltimore, Md. Gigliotti is a graduate of Villanova University and the University of Pennsylvania. He resides in Knoxville, Tenn. with his wife and two sons.
