Paula is well known for inspiring teams, operationalizing plans and mobilizing organizations to exceed their business results. Paula is a results oriented senior executive with a global perspective and a cross functional career path in fields of Strategy, Procurement, Supply Chain/Operations. Solid track record of consistently exceeding margin expansion and cash generation goals through strategic negotiations, organizational design, business expansion, change and business transformation.

Paula is currently the Global Head of Strategic Sourcing and Category Management at Google. Paula is responsible for the management of over $40Bn in third party spend for all 16 Product areas (Youtube, Maps, GTech, Core,etc. success in this role is measured by P&L savings, cash generation and the management of strategic partnerships. In her first year in this role, she and her team achieved record performance in all metrics. Paula has a deep passion for gender equality and diversity in the workplace.

Paula currently sits in the board of the LatinX ERG at Google and has been actively involved in ERG in all the companies she has worked for. Paula most prominent role was as Bacardi’s first Chief Diversity and Inclusion officer, a position she earned in 2018 after successfully expanding globally, Bacardi´s Women in Leadership program.

Paula’s superior communication skills have been demonstrated by multiple speaking engagements. Paula is currently a guest lecturer at the Essec Business School in Paris.
