He is currently corporate marketing officer at TechStyle Fashion Group, an industry-leading platform building high-value fashion brands across the globe.
Before TechStyle, Mr. Gold was head of entertainment brand partnerships at Wattpad.com, one of the world’s fastest-growing mobile content sites. He also oversaw marketing and content development at Inside Studios, a video and mobile app company creating shows with over 1 billion views. Until 2007, he spearheaded marketing initiatives and campaigns at MySpace during its growth from 25 to 110 million users worldwide.
Shawn was previously partner and founding publisher of Weblogs, Inc., a network of popular blogs that included Engadget, Joystiq and Autoblog. As head of communications planning for Rare Medium, he helped launch digital communications strategies for brands at P&G, General Mills, Nestle, Mattel and more.
