Betsy Golden Kellem is counsel for CVS Health, supporting the company’s retail marketing business and the Aetna business unit.
A career-long media, advertising and technology attorney, Ms. Kellem previously acted as marketing counsel for the advertising trust serving more than 25,000 Subway restaurants internationally, where she advised staff and outside agencies in execution of the industry-leading $5 footlong campaign. At Open Solutions, Inc. (now part of Fiserv), Betsy was responsible for the company’s flagship DNA product and core banking business.
Ms. Kellem is the founder of the history blog Drinks With Dead People, has taught legal seminars at Yale University and the University of Connecticut School of Law, and her writing has been featured in numerous outlets. A member of the Board of Directors of the Barnum Museum in Bridgeport, Conn., she is currently at work on a book about P.T. Barnum and his role in creating modern popular culture.
