Rick Gomez leads marketing and media strategy, creative development, guest research, loyalty, and corporate responsibility. He also oversees creative collaborations, including designer partnerships, exclusive music artists, and licensing. Additionally, he is the head of Target’s e-commerce business and oversees the company’s digital strategy.
Mr. Gomez joined Target in 2013 as SVP of brand and category marketing, where he led marketing efforts across all merchandise categories and seasonal campaigns like holiday and back to school.
Prior to Target, Mr. Gomez served as VP of brand marketing at MillerCoors. He also held multiple leadership roles at PepsiCo, including CMO of the non-carbonated beverage portfolio. He began his career in brand management at the Quaker Oats Company.
Mr. Gomez received a B.A. from Dartmouth College. He currently serves on the boards of the ANA and the Gay Lesbian Student Education Network.
