Multicultural Marketing Manager / McDonald's
Alexea Gordon is the Manager, Multicultural Marketing, for McDonald’s Corporation where she leads a cross-functional team focused on driving growth among multicultural consumers, specifically focused on Black and LGBTQ+ Youth.
Alexea launched her professional career in public relations where she gained a depth of knowledge on the multicultural consumer through working on national healthcare awareness campaigns for the Centers for Disease Control and National Institutes of Health. Desiring to apply her expertise to elevate perceptions and relevance for consumer brands, Alexea continued her work at multiple national agencies including Burrell, Golin and MWW where she played a leadership role on national accounts for McDonald’s, Walmart, Wells Fargo and 1-800-Flowers. She transitioned into marketing in 2016 and since then has a proven track record managing go-to-market strategies for Discover Financial Services and Pizza Hut., including launching the multicultural team at Pizza Hut.
She has an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Howard University.
Alexea proudly hails from the South Side of Chicago where she currently resides with her husband, Xzavier.
