Louis Graham is VP of Enterprise Content at ALSAC (American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities), the exclusive fundraising organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He spent four decades in the newspaper business, holding nearly every job in the newsroom, from reporter to Executive Editor, of The Commercial Appeal in Memphis, home of St. Jude. His years in senior newspaper management coincide with an era of secular change in the industry, requiring he lead a 175-year-old legacy print business into the digital world. He left the business in 2017 but didn’t abandon the fundamentals of the craft. He joined ALSAC to build on the rich tradition of storytelling at the nonprofit founded by entertainer Danny Thomas. He has a BA in Journalism from Indiana University and is founder of the Institute for Public Service Reporting at the University of Memphis.
