Prior to joining the NAD in 2010, Rebecca Griffith practiced law at Day Pitney LLP in New York City, where she concentrated on branding and IP protection and counseling clients regarding trademark, copyright, and advertising law. Her practice included trademark clearance, prosecution, and licensing, as well as trademark and copyright infringement litigation in the federal courts, proceedings in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and appeals in the U.S. Copyright Office. Ms. Griffith has also worked as a litigator at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson LLP and at the IP law firm Ladas & Parry LLP. She earned her B.A. in English literature, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania, and her J.D. from New York University School of Law.
