Drew Groner
Senior Vice President, Head of Agency and Client Partnership / DIRECTV

Drew Groner is the senior vice president, head of agency and client partnerships for DIRECTV. He is a deeply dedicated and highly experienced sales leader with more than 20 years of experience in media and advertising. In his current role, he is directly responsible for leading the sales organization and maximizing revenue across DIRECTV Advertising’s addressable, digital, and data-enabled solutions.  

Over the course of his career, Mr. Groner has been a proven sales leader, building consultative teams at the forefront of audience-based advertising strategies. He has been instrumental in developing the addressable category not only within DIRECTV, but industry-wide, and always leading with a nimble and data-driven approach to ensure optimal results for clients.   

Prior to this role, Mr. Groner led the client partnerships teams at Warner Bros. Discovery, Xandr, and AT&T. His teams were responsible for client strategy across all verticals and monetizing the full suite of assets across each company, including linear and digital media, sponsorships, programmatic media, and ad tech.  

Mr. Groner holds a bachelor’s in social and behavioral sciences from the University of Arizona.
