Ben Haynes is the head of broadcast production purchasing at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles U.S. In this role, he is responsible for FCA’s global broadcast production strategy, as well as leading the procurement activity for production for all FCA brands in the U.S. (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, Alfa and MOPAR). In 2015, FCA made a strategic decision for its North American region to direct-source its broadcast production business and effectively take greater control of the procurement activity normally managed by its creative agencies. Subsequently, in 2017, FCA began direct-sourcing post (editing & finishing) and its photography business. Having worked on various projects with production companies, post houses, and photographers, all in collaboration with over a dozen creative agencies, FCA’s decision has proven to be extremely successful. Prior to managing production, Mr. Haynes held several procurement positions at FCA, including being responsible for FCA’s global creative agency strategy and the procurement of creative agency services in North America. Ben holds degrees in Economics and Marketing, as well as a Masters of Business Administration from Michigan State University.
