Expert at articulating technology IP into business-impacting campaigns to drive awareness, demand generation, sales enablement, and digital experiences while delivering business outcomes. Skilled at hiring, managing, motivating, and scaling best-in-class, diverse marketing talent and teams with the right culture, capabilities, and cost structure to succeed.
 
As Vice President of Marketing – Content & Storytelling, Scott is responsible for creating and building the story, content, assets, website, and campaigns customers use to learn about Lumen; and Marketing & Sales use to create and convert demand into revenue.  This includes product marketing, an in-house creative team, sales enablement, Lumen.com, events, and sponsorships.
 
Scott renamed, repositioned, and rebranded a 90-year-old Fortune 150 company into a modern technology brand with a bold, new vision called Lumen. Prior to Lumen, he worked at Dell EMC, where he built the first enterprise, in-house creative team, and worked at Compellent, where he was part of the management team that successfully executed an IPO and built the fastest-growing data storage company in the world.
 
He is an alumnus of St. Olaf College and the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business.
