Brian Hovis is vice president of customer acquisition, media and digital at Nordstrom. In this role, he is responsible for the direction of activities across all inbound traffic and advertising channels including digital, social, content amplification and traditional/offline media for the full-price business (Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com). A core leadership principle is to enable an environment with internal and external stakeholders that fosters agile speed to market balanced with continual innovation. Mr. Hovis is a proven marketing leader driving large-scale national campaigns integrated across consumer touch points and omni-channel with a track record for consistently exceeding KPIs including revenue growth and ROI. He leads with consumer insights that translate into strategies and tactics that work across the funnel from awareness and engagement to response and conversion. He previously held the positions of global head of digital marketing for Citi, vice president of marketing for Experian and led digital marketing for Intuit and Sony Electronics. Brian is active in participating with leading industry conferences to contribute thought leadership and has tenure on multiple strategic publisher/mar-tech advisory boards.
