Lisa Hurwitz has recently joined the Grassroots management team from Kimberly-Clark (K-C), where she was the vice president for global brand design, creative and content. At K-C, Ms. Hurwitz was responsible for translating Kimberly-Clark’s global brand strategies into seamless experiences for consumers. She led a global agenda to elevate design and marketing overall as a strategic and foundational driver of K-C’s brands, with direct responsibility for global branding strategies, packaging and advertising. Prior to K-C, Lisa spent 18 years in the agency business, including seven years working exclusively with Procter & Gamble (P&G) across their beauty, fabric care, oral care and femcare portfolios. She was the managing director at Starcom Mediavest Group for the agency’s P&G business, running media strategy and communications planning. Prior to that, Ms. Hurwitz served as executive vice president at Leo Burnett/Arc Worldwide, responsible for building and leading their global shopper design, shopper marketing and e-commerce capability for P&G. In 2013, she was named to the Crain’s Chicago Business “40 Under 40” list. Originally from Washington, D.C., Lisa earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and spent the early part of her career in New York City before moving to Chicago with her family.
