Kim Harrison-Johnson is an experienced marketing and strategic sourcing leader with over 25 years’ experience in financial services and retail industries. Ms. Harrison-Johnson has a specialty in marketing technology, digital and agency categories. She is skilled at delivering category strategies that drive significant value and cost savings. Kim is currently leading initiatives that will drive over $100 million in planned savings over three years to improve SunTrust’s efficiency ratio. Ms. Harrison-Johnson began her career at Ogilvy & Mather advertising in New York City, and she joined SunTrust in April 2012. She is currently the strategic sourcing relationship manager for all corporate functions, managing nearly $900 million in spend. Kim leads a team of seven sourcing commodity managers that support marketing, human resources, risk, finance, legal, audit, consulting and facilities management categories. As a marketer, she owned and launched a successful boutique firm, Key Point Marketing Consultants, with multiple Fortune 50 clients such as Home Depot and United Health Group. The company won three Communicator Awards from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. Ms. Harrison-Johnson received her Bachelor of Science degree at the State University College at Buffalo and her Masters of Business Administration in marketing and international business from Binghamton University.
