Alex Josephson oversees Twitter's Global Brand Strategy team - leading a department of former marketers, creatives, planners and technologists - aiding and inspiring Twitter’s advertisers through a variety of services - ranging from platform innovation to content strategy and audience insights. Spanning the globe - from the Americas to Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific regions - his team’s work with iconic brands and agencies is recognized year-in and year-out across the ad industry’s most prominent awards circuits - from Cannes to the Clios, the Effies, and more. Prior to joining Twitter in 2012, Josephson oversaw integrated marketing partnerships for the music video service VEVO - across Pan-America, Europe and Australia - and has also spent time in various marketing, content and communications roles at Viacom, the NBA, and the American Red Cross.
