Brenda Kahari is the founder of B.W. Kahari. She specializes in intellectual property law and commercial transactions, advising clients, inter alia, on advertising, marketing and promotion law. The firm represents corporate entities, partnerships, joint ventures and nonprofit organizations who have interests in Africa. Ms. Kahari is a member of the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance (GALA), and a former board member of the International Trademark Association (INTA). She is a regular speaker for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), INTA and the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO). Brenda is an adjunct professor at Africa University in Zimbabwe, where she lectures on brands and trademarks as a WIPO regional expert. She has written articles and contributed to publications for GALA, WIPO, INTA and various other publishers focusing on brands/ trademarks and advertising law.
