Grace Kao is senior counsel at Google, serving as a product counsel for the worldwide sale of Google's consumer goods. This includes advising on advertising best practices, pricing and promotion strategy, policies related to customer support, reverse logistics and operational issues, new product launches, and other related matters.
Ms. Kao started with the company as a commercial counsel for Google Maps products before transitioning to a negotiating strategic partnerships specialist for Google's then-satellite company acquisition. She began her career at Morrison Foerster in San Francisco, acted as a technology transactions associate at Kirkland and Ellis, and was in-house with hardware startup Riverbed Technology.
Ms. Kao graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
