Rachel Katzman is the manager of direct response television (DRTV) and telemarketing at the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ). The organization was founded in 1983 by the late Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein to promote understanding and cooperation between Jews and Christians, and to build broad support for Israel and other shared concerns. Ms. Katzman has been at IFCJ for nine years and has held positions that include online fundraising eAppeal associate. Since 2014, she has been focusing on both cultivation and acquisition for DRTV, outbound telemarketing and radio, and an even newer role to her is support for IFCJ’s mid-level program. Essentially, she’s involved in anything related to telemarketing phone vendors! Rachel’s goals are to work seamlessly with her various partners on sustainer conversion and upgrade, and one-time gift reactivation and renewal, as well as her greatest passion: perfecting the ultimate “donor experience.” Ms. Katzman has a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Loyola University Chicago and spent time living in Israel after high school. She resides in Chicago with her husband, Elliott. Outside of work, Rachel spends her time with family and friends, and writing about food and fashion for her two blogs!
