Ali Kefeli is the senior director of data science and advanced analytics strategy at Kimberly-Clark. His focus is implementing end-to-end advanced analytics transformation in Kimberly Clark’s North America business. His work involves implementation of Agile methodologies for innovative advanced analytics tools and high-value data science use cases. He is known for “IRIS: The model of everything,” an AI-fueled demand driver model that re-thinks how data science work is done in the areas of revenue management, trade promotion optimization, and omnichannel marketing mix modeling. He pioneered techniques such as gamification, revenue optimization under pricing thresholds, and proactive competitive activity mitigation.
Prior to Kimberly-Clark, Mr. Kefeli held roles with the Coca-Cola Company, Georgia-Pacific, and Duke University Medical Center.
He holds a Ph.D. in industrial engineering and operations research from North Carolina State University and was an interinstitutional student at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
