Kellyn Smith Kenny is the global chief marketing officer at Hilton Worldwide. She joined Hilton in 2018 to lead marketing strategy, media, measurement, creative and marketing operations for all 14 of Hilton’s iconic global brands. In her current role, Ms. Kenny is focused on building Hilton’s brand presence globally through cutting-edge marketing and advertising. Prior to Hilton, Kellyn held senior marketing positions at Uber Technologies, Capital One Financial and Microsoft Corporation. Ms. Kenny joined Uber to build the marketing department from the ground up. She led all interdisciplinary centralized marketing efforts across the U.S. and Canada, and global marketing capabilities across brand strategy, insights, marketing analytics and marketing platforms. While at Uber, her team’s performance propelled massive top-line growth and delivered staggering bottom-line efficiencies. At Capital One, Kellyn served as senior vice president, leading marketing and brand strategy for the consumer banking division. In over four years with Capital One, she held brand and marketing leadership positions across banking, investing and home lending. Ms. Kenny pioneered agile marketing within Capital One and helped redesign the interaction model across product, marketing, brand, digital and operations, which led to breakout growth and innovation. Prior to that, Kellyn spent more than five years at Microsoft.
