Crystal King
National VP, Creative & Design/ American Heart Association

As National Vice President of Creative & Design, Crystal King developed and leads American Heart Association Creative Studios with teams responsible for the development of strategies shaping how consumer and professional audiences experience the best in science and well-being content.  She is dedicated to bringing the brand to life for all who benefit from the mission and is honored to have received the organization’s Relentless Force Award.  Previously, King served as Director of Multicultural Markets followed by time as Director of Digital Assets.

Before joining the AHA, Crystal served as Sr. Manager of Philanthropy for JCPenney managing charitable giving efforts as the liaison to JCP’s non-profit partners nationwide leading point-of-sale campaigns through their Corporate Social Responsibility platform. King began her career with Altria Group before finding purpose at Susan G. Komen for the Cure. There she supported the commitment to reducing the disparities that many women face in under-resourced communities. She also contributed to expanding SGK efforts beyond U.S. shores to focus on reducing the disparities for women globally.
