Jeff is a dedicated fundraiser with 28 years of experience who enjoys working across organizational strategy, planning, and management. He is committed to securing resources for programmatic and operational growth, and to achieving high impact results.
Jeff has successfully developed and implemented plans for local, national, and international organizations and associations, including HIV/AIDS services, education for low-income youth, nonprofit capacity building, and health care. As Vice-President of Resource Development with Capital Caring, the premier hospice and palliative care organization in the region, he manages a 12-person team of fundraisers and administrative support including major gifts, planned gifts, annual fund, grants and foundations, corporate sponsorships, and special events.
Jeff is widely recognized as a leader in giving back to the profession. He served as President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Washington, D.C. Metro Region (AFP DC) and helped facilitate discussions with DMAW for what is now the Bridge to Integrated Marketing and Fundraising Conference; chaired National Capital Philanthropy Day; and continues to serve on multiple committees and task forces for AFP DC and AFP International.
