Jennifer LaFrance (Jen) is the Director of Digital Communications for McCormick’s U.S. Consumer Products Division, leading efforts across paid, owned and earned channels. Jen is responsible for building McCormick brands through a robust mix of content, services and tools, all designed with the ‘connected cook’ in mind. Her team’s mission is to make flavorful food personal. Jen has been involved in McCormick’s digital efforts since 2007. She helped launch McCormick’s social presence in 2009 and was instrumental in launching the award-winning FlavorPrint recommendation engine in 2013. Under her leadership, McCormick has more than tripled their digital spend, developed numerous engaged social communities and was named a ‘top 10’ food brand by the Digital IQ Index in 2014. Prior to McCormick, Jen worked for The Baltimore Sun for nine years in a variety of leadership roles, including advertising, sales management and staff development.
