Matthew Lawless is a lawyer in the Procter & Gamble Co. Global Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Information Technology Law group. He advises brands on global consumer data projects, drafts and negotiates privacy and data security agreements, provides legal guidance to global programmatic advertising and data analytics teams, and has led consumer personal data compliance initiatives, including for the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Matt holds a juris doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, a master’s degree from Texas Tech University, a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, and the IAPP’s CIPP/U.S., CIPM, CIPP/E and FIP credentials. He teaches Information Privacy Law at the University of Cincinnati College of Law and the Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
