Angela Liberto is corporate counsel at Dick’s Sporting Goods, where she provides general legal counsel for Dick’s Team Sports HQ family of businesses and Dick’s information technology business team. Dick’s Team Sports HQ is an all-in-one service that equips and supports youth leagues, including providing online registration and website services, team uniforms and fanwear, and access to sponsorships and donations, some of which are provided by The Dick’s Sporting Goods Foundation through the www.SportsMatter.org program. In this role, Ms. Liberto gives advice and negotiates contracts related to technology, digital, sponsorship, privacy and terms of use, data security, software and website development, e-commerce, mobile apps, social media and intellectual property. Prior to joining Dick’s, Angela worked in-house at a global technology consulting firm. She began her career as an IT consultant and business analyst focusing on public sector technology and accounting while pursuing her law degree. Ms. Liberto earned her Bachelor of Science in information sciences and technology from Pennsylvania State University and her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University. She is an avid outdoors-woman with interests in golf and cycling, and she enjoys working in the retail and technology industry. Angela lives in Pittsburgh with her husband, Josh.
