At Verizon Media, Brian Lightbody is the creative strategist of impact and innovation for RYOT Studio, VM's branded content team, where he leads content initiatives for publishers such as Yahoo, HuffPost and TechCrunch.

Previously, Mr. Lightbody was a creative director at Purpose and has independently consulted for nonprofit organizations including UNICEF, Sierra Club, 350.org and Environmental Defense Fund. An ad agency veteran, Mr. Lightbody has worked for many Fortune 100 brands at agencies including Anomaly, Big Spaceship, BBH, Ogilvy & Mather, JWT, and Noise. In a prior life he contributed illustrations to publications such as Paper Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, as well as the art-book publisher Rizzoli.
