Pamela Keeney Lina is senior counsel for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. in Atlanta, focusing on marketing, advertising, social media, privacy and regulatory matters on behalf of Turner’s Cartoon Network and Boomerang. She provides legal advice in all areas of children’s advertising, including compliance with the Children’s Television Act (KidVid), the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and the Children’s Advertising Review Unit’s self-regulatory guidelines. Prior to joining Turner in 2011, Ms. Lina was an associate at Alston & Bird LLP in Atlanta, where she specialized in copyright, trademark, licensing and technology transactions. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public policy studies from Duke University and a Juris Doctor degree with honors from Emory University School of Law, where she was the executive articles editor of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal and was awarded Order of the Coif. Pamela is active in the Atlanta community and serves on the Duke Alumni Association’s Admissions Advisory Committee.
