Mary Long has built an extensive career leading food manufacturing and food retailing supply chains for Campbell’s Soup, General Mills, Pillsbury, Quaker Oats/Gatorade and, most recently, as a supply chain VP at Domino’s. Ms. Long has led teams responsible for logistics, sourcing, engineering, systems, data analytics, sustainability and safety. Three outcomes have characterized her work: customer-focused supply chain transformation; new supply chain data analytics capabilities and insights; and strong team development. Last year, Mary made a leap from industry into academia and is now a professor of practice and managing director of the Supply Chain Management Institute (SCMI) in the University of San Diego School of Business. She has served as chair of the board of directors of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and serves on the advisory boards for AWESOMEleaders.org, ALAN (American Logistics Aid Network) and a Silicon Valley startup, #Hashmove.com. Mary has an undergraduate degree in quantitative business analysis from Cleveland State University and a Master of Business Administration in operations and logistics from Ohio State University.
