Lyris Malajian is the VP and assistant general counsel for Pandora, where she negotiates commercial agreements for digital advertising and brand marketing initiatives, advises the data operations and monetization teams, and leads the rights and clearances process for all custom content produced by the marketing, social media, and creative teams. She also provides legal guidance and negotiates contracts for co-branded initiatives, experiential marketing, sales marketing, virtual events, editorial, social media, talent, and influencers.
Previously, Ms. Malajian worked at A+E Networks, providing legal support on rights and clearances issues to the international programming, consumer products, and digital media teams. She started her legal career as a law clerk at the New York County Supreme Court, Civil Division.
Ms. Malajian holds a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, an M.S. in media management from The New School, and a B.S. in finance and management (with minors in economics and international business) from Quinnipiac University.
