Tim Mapes is SVP and chief marketing and communications officer for Delta, where he is responsible for the strategy and coordination of internal and external communications, as well as the global airline’s sustainability work. Mr. Mapes oversees marketing, advertising, product development, corporate communications, social and traditional media engagement, and community engagement.
Previously at Delta, Mr. Mapes led the strategic direction and execution of the brand as CMO, and was VP and CMO for Song, Delta’s low-cost division. He has more than 30 years of agency and client-side experience, including leadership positions at Omnicom’s BBDO and Bozell, Jacobs, Kenyon & Eckhardt.
Mr. Mapes is a University of Georgia graduate.
