In his current role as the group vice president of marketing for core and value brands at Anheuser-Busch, Ricardo Marques leads, among others, four of the top 10 most-enjoyed beer brands in the U.S.: Budweiser, Busch, Busch Light and Natural Light.
For the past 13 years, Mr. Marques has held roles of increasing responsibility in marketing at Anheuser-Busch InBev in Belgium, Brazil and, since 2012, in the U.S. In his time in the U.S. market, Ricardo's leadership on Stella Artois accelerated its growth trajectory and Budweiser gained new momentum on the back of a new approach to innovation and creativity. The recent partnership with Jim Beam to launch the Budweiser Reserve Copper Lager, the disaster relief campaign delivering water to areas in need, and celebrating epic moments in sports through captivating storytelling are great examples that helped reinvigorate the Budweiser brand.
Mr. Marques studied marketing communications at Instituto Superior de Novas Profissões (ISNP), followed by business administration post-graduation at Instituto Superior de Gestão (ISG). Over the years, he completed multiple executive programs at NYU Stern, Harvard Business School and Wharton.
