As Director of Google Media Platforms, Marta Martinez partners with advertising agencies to drive digital transformation through the application of data and technology at scale. Before joining Google, she was the Chief Revenue Officer of Intersection, the smart cities technology and media company funded by Alphabet. Earlier, Marta served as the SVP of Advertising at AOL, leading the East Region sales organization in simplifying marketing for AOL’s clients by bringing together programmatic advertising and premium video. Marta has also held leadership roles at MediaMath and Havas Digital.
Marta’s passion for technology brought her to the USA from her native Spain, to pursue an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University, specializing in Entertainment, Media and Technology. She holds a M.S. in Business Administration from ESADE in Barcelona.
Marta lives in Westchester, NY with her husband and two children. In addition to her love of world travel, Marta likes to ski, bike, do yoga and cheer for her lifelong favorite team, FC Barcelona fan.
