Tyler Mathisen co-anchors Power Lunch, one of CNBC’s longest running program franchises and Nightly Business Report, an award-winning evening business news program it produces for U.S. public television.
He has previously served the network as managing editor of CNBC Business News, co-chaired Closing Bell, and reported for several documentaries.
Prior to joining CNBC, Mr. Mathisen spent 15 years as a writer and editor at Money magazine. He also was money editor at Good Morning America and has won several awards for personal finance journalism.
He graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia.
